Dan joined Remer Realty and Appraisal full time in June of 2009. Dan is currently licensed in Iowa as an Certified Real Property Appraiser and also as Broker Owner of Remer realty and Appraisal, LLC. Dan has been licensed in Real Estate Sales since 2004 and is currently the Broker in Charge of our Ida Grove office since 2019.
Dan is a proud alumnus of Northwestern College in Orange City, IA. During his time at Northwestern, Dan competed in Football and Track. Following college, Dan began working in Des Moines with Wolf Construction. The wide range of residential and commercial construction skills that he acquired in Des Moines provide Dan with a strong knowledge base.
Dan is married and has three children. Dan's Wife Renae is one of the 5th Grade teachers at OABCIG Middle School in Ida Grove. His three Children are Gavin, Stella and Leo. In his spare time, Dan enjoys golfing, fishing, racquetball, pickleball and boating with his family.
Dan is a active member of the community and takes pride in his involvement. Currently he is a member of Ida Grove Rec Center Board, Current Member of Ida Grove Kiwanis, Former President of Ida Grove Chamber of Commerce, and has served as a trustee on the Ida Grove Library board. Dan is also participated in Ida County's Compensation Commission as a representative to the Sheriffs office.
